OGS Conference Just Two Months Ahead!
We just got word that the OGS block of rooms at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square is almost full, so contact the hotel 614-365-4500 or http://goo.gl/OrRmKt if you wish to stay in the midst of the Ohio Genealogical Society Conference 8-11 April 2015. Registrations always come in a little slower than the hotel rooms as the price increase deadline isn't until March 18th. But we already have over 100 registered - the early birds! I think we were one registration short of 700 in Columbus back when we were celebrating the state's bicentennial. Wouldn't it be great if we could beat that this year! Be sure to point your friends to all the conference information on the OGS web site - www.ogs.org - or request printed registration forms for distribution from the OGS office - 419-886-1903 or email: tneel@ogs.org "Ohio, Your Genealogical Cornerstone" is the theme this year. Judy Russell, the "Legal Genealogist", is the keynote speaker.

WAUSEON PAPER NOW ONLINE!
The Wauseon Fulton
County Tribune, 1913-1922 has been added to Chronicling America. This should be a good source for Fulton County, Ohio research. Although the newspaper digitization grant has ended for Ohio, the last batch of papers hasn't been posted yet, and there are going to be a couple extra titles due to some extra funding. We will announce the new ones as they are posted. This is all FREE for the user. You just have to know about it!
